It's designed for the use of interfacing with Sonic Blue's third and fourth generation of portable MP3 players (Rio 600/800/900/S-Series/Riot and Nike psa[play). It goes beyod the packaged software by providing downloading.

rio500

This set of utilities lets you upload songs and manage folders for Diamonds Rio 500 player under Linux and *BSD. The utilities have worked for Linux under i386, PPC and Alpha architectures. Using a driver for *BSD it works for FreeBSD, OpenBSD and NetBSD.

JRioUtil is a Java Swing GUI that works on top of the rioutil tools to interface with DiamondMM's (now Sonicblue's) series of USB based MP3 players. Features include managing the internal memory of the player, file system browsing and transfer to the player, and automatic conversion of various formats to MP3.

rio is a utility for MP3 file upload to Diamond's Rio, a production portable MP3 player. Developed for Linux, the program was created as a result of our earlier work on providing support (Open Source) for the Saehan MpMan, which was the first production MP3 player.

libkarma

libkarma is a C library for managing the Rio Karma via TCP/IP. It supports all basic protocol commands and some advanced functions on top of these, like caching of the Rio database. There are two proof-of-concept tools included, riocp and chprop. riocp can be used to upload files to the Karma.

TKRio

TKRio is an X Front End for the Rio and MPMan programs.
