PCMCIA/CardBus/CF-Card Linux Survey: TRENDnet TEW-441PC

Has a Atheros chipset. Works with drivers from madwifi . SUSE has non-gpl modules for the Kernel which my maybe contain drivers for this card, too. But I haven't tried the SUSE modules but compiled the driver by myself. There is no output of pccardctl (former cardctl). Don't know why but the madwifi modul is called "ath_pci" and maybe the card is handled as PCI card whith this driver!? But the card works with WPE in our university net. Haven't tested WPA. Output of lspci -v: 02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5212 802.11abg NIC (rev 01) Subsystem: Atheros Communications, Inc.: Unknown device 2051 Flags: medium devsel, IRQ 5 Memory at 32000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [disabled] [size=64K] Capabilities: [44] Power Management version 2 |
