"The driver on the disk doesn't seem to work with newer versions of PCMCIA utils (that's my experience with PCMCIA-Utils 3.1.25). The driver is based on pcnet_cs.c from PCMCIA-Utils 3.0.9. In my case, the module couldn't read the MAC-Address. But that can be fixed by writing the MAC-Address by hand to /etc/pcmcia/config.opts: module "en2228" opts "hw_addr=0x00,0x10,0xb5,0xbe,0x33,0xF3" \# (hwaddr must be your mac address) with this it seem to work in a 10Base-T and 100Base-TX net without problems. |
