PRINT version of "PCMCIA/CardBus/CF-Card Linux Survey: Acorp A-10PC aka EP100"
<= Back to SCREEN version <=

card name:
A-10PC aka EP100
card type:
ethernet 10BaseT
Linux status:
"no special drivers needed", INSTALLATION:
(1) Remove cards with same manfid from /etc/pcmcia/config (they use the tulip driver, which is incompatible and causes nasty module lockups as well as a cardmgr coredump).
(2) Add an entry for the card to /etc/pcmcia/config.opts, identifying it by manfid. Uses pcnet_cs driver (NE2000 compatible card).
(3) On bootup .. the card isn't properly identified. Do "cardctl eject; cardctl insert" in order to activate it.
It doesn't say Acorp on the box, but the distributor told me it was Acorp. And the description on their homepage fits.
