Fedora 12 Linux on the Lenovo ThinkPad X100e Laptop



This is a short HOWTO about getting Linux (Fedora 12) installed and to work with the Lenovo ThinkPad X100e (2876-2FG version UK). Fedora core 12 works out of the box for the main components except for:

1) To get integrated WiFi to work, follow this guide , run make, copy the firmware to the relevant place and run make install.

2) Problems with resume can be solved by using the following quirk: quirk.s3_bios. The patch was send upstream there .

3) KMS 3D acceleration has not been solved yet. A bug report has been opened .
